Journey to 215lbs
Alright, so this is really hard for me to share, but I understand the value of being transparent about my weight loss journey. On June 15, 2022, as I was working out in my apartment gym, I became overwhelmed and disgusted at how I looked in the mirror. (why? I can’t tell you) Honestly, it was to the point I began to tear up because I hated the way I looked. Before I begin, I love myself, I know I am a beautiful woman, I was just having a moment! (and we all have them, so please don’t be judgemental)
I’ve always hated being overweight. More importantly at that moment, I hated that after two years of working out with a trainer I haven’t lost more than 30lbs. Most importantly I hate that I lack, the disciplined to achieve my health goals! I was feeling discouraged and hopeless as I approached mile two on the elliptical, as I was going through this mental dibegal. I called my mom, and after that conversation, she helped me realize maybe, I needed to change my approach to losing weight. Truth be told she wasn’t wrong, so I asked myself what a small yet achievable goal I can commit to, that will help me achieve one part of the long-term goal.
A little secret about me, on the weekends as a bartender at the AT&T Stadium and one of my clients shared her story about her weight loss journey and how she used Plexus to promote gut help. Again at this point, I am willing to try a new approach to help me fix this long-term problem. She introduced me to Plexus, which is a dietary company that specializes in promoting overall health. Plexus is most known for its weightless products, and a Pink Drink that helps with hunger craves. I am committing to a sixty-day (at min) transformation using Plexus and following this program step by step.
By October 15, 2022, my goal is to hit my first goal of weighing 285lbs. Within this commitment I will be doing the following:
Working out three times a week at min.
Following my Plexus Plan.
Develop a discipline that will help me achieve my long-term goals. This includes eating healthy, elevating fast foods and sweets, and increasing my water intake!
I am scared but excited, because what if this time I achieve this goal? What if this time I don’t fail? Do I trust myself to see this through? Honestly, I will be taking this one day time, nothing more or less. When I show up daily I tend to knock my goals out of the park! So guess what I will be doing for the next sixty days? Showing up.
