Workout and Routines for Plus-Size Women

As someone who as being active for two years, I have learned a lot about my body! One of the reasons I value being active is that it provides an opportunity for me to thank my body, and the small decision to incorporate sixty minutes of constant movement has improved my health. Thus why I have created a space on all my social media platforms especially to help women who look like me to get active!


Routine

I want to see you win, in your fitness journey! One of the many reasons I have been able to stay consistent in the gym has been my ability main a consistent routine. This is something specific to you and the goals you're looking to accomplish. Studies show that when you invest time into your goals, by doing the same thing three to four times a week you are increasing the chances of achieving that goal. So, let’s look at three things you can incorporate that will help you achieve your fitness goals:

  • Wake up and go to bed within the same time frame during the weekdays.

  • Get active 3 to 4 times a week for at least 21 days.

  • Create a plan base on your personal fitness goals.

    When you’re committing to creating a better life for yourself, it’s also important to access what habits you are doing that is hindering you from creating and maintaining any routine. For me, it was my eating habits! Nonetheless, I learned the hard way that you cannot outwork bad eating habits. Therefore, assess what truly stopping you, and incorporate ways to elevate that habit with a good one! Water aerobics.


Workout

Let’s get moving people! I’ll be honest with you, I live by the concept that “No one cares, get it done.” It may sound harsh, but the reality is, we are all busy, but we moving our schedules around to prioritize our health. The fewer excuses you make the better off you’ll be, and the likelihood you’ll improve your health. My goal is to help you take that first step, here are three easy activities you incorporate into your workout routine that will have an impact.

  • Walking on a treadmill or exploring your favorite trail. Walking is one of the most underrated workouts, yet it has a huge impact.

  • Cardio: Cycling, Stair Master, Eleplical, Running, Rowing, etc.

  • Lifting Weights has been my biggest secret to success! Seriously. Lifting helps tone your body and contributes to that sexy fique you’re trying to achieve.

If you don’t get anything else from this blog, I want you to figure out how to have fun while being active! I hate the idea that workouts can’t be enjoyable, or that you can only go to the gym to achieve any results. Y’all there are so many options nowadays that you can incorporate into your daily life! For instance, if you are someone who enjoys dancing, find local dance studios that offer classes, not to mention there are so many different styles that you could try out. Love water? Look up gyms that have indoor pools that offer workout classes. There are Palettes, Yoga, honestly, the world is yours you just have to find something that you enjoy and get active!
